Education is the foundation for the the success one has in life because it empowers them financially and gives them the confidence to uplift their own communities. Through the pandemic, the past few years brought out all the inadequacies across the world when it comes to access to a stable education and reliable information. As a student myself, I really felt how the pandemic slowed down my education and made me inefficient. However,  I recognize that it is much easier for me to bounce back than others due to the resources  I have. United under the phrase that “knowledge is power”, I partnered up with Shubhrangshu in order to start The Friend in Need. There are children all over the world who deserve their chance for a better life and the best way to encourage them is by providing them with the academic support they need. Hearing the stories about the children we have already reached gives me hope that what we do makes a difference. My goal is to continue to expand our reach and spread awareness on this matter and build a community of people of who learn from one another.
