A charitable not-for-profit Organization. We work for the welfare of street children, provide education in a child-friendly way, help ill people, support old homeless women, and more!
Some of their activity include: rescuing, rehabilitating, and educating street children who reside near the Railway Station and are vulnerable to physical and sexual abuse. They also regularly provide monthly rations to the children’s families for food and other necessities.
TFIN has organized tutoring in spoken English for a class of students ranging from 1st to 6th grade at Mahajiban. Classes are done on a weekly basis. This experience has allowed a sharing of not just languages but hobbies and music as well.
“I am glad to really gotten to know the students not just as students but as peers as well. This has built a sense of trust that makes the classes not just worthwhile but enjoyable.” says Sampurna, who tutors the class at Mahajiban.
