
Shubhrangshu
Co-President and Tutor
Shubhrangshu sparked the idea of the Friend In Need based on his experience tutoring kids at the Bharat Sebhashram Sangha. He noted the way his experience with the kids went from awkward to genuinely enjoyable. He first worked on establishing TFIN and building its website and has since continued to tutor them in spoken English.

Sampurna
Co-President , Volunteer, and Tutor
Sampurna partnered with Shubhrangshu in establishing TFIN, having had previous experiences fundraising for non-profits and shared his desire for making education more accessible. She tutors children at the Mahajiban center in spoken English, has run fundraisers with other volunteers, and worked with Shubhrangshu on building and maintaining TFIN’s website.

Aadeep
Tutor
Aadeep has been a diligent tutor at the Aashar Alo center. He has developed syllabi, and lessons by collaborating with Aashar Alo’s staff and students that have drastically improved the academic growth of the children at the center. Currently they are writing words in English when they previously could not speak the language or properly write in their native tongue.

Utsa
Tutor and Volunteer
Utsa has aided fundraising efforts alongside Sampurna in order to raise awareness and funds for our organization which go into projects such as covering teacher salaries at the Mahajiban center. She has also tutored kids at Mahajiban and curated social media posts for them in order to expand their reach.
